why eat organic?

Your baby’s immune system is dealing with many new things in the first couple of years of life. Children, as a rule, are more vulnerable to toxins than adults.

Firstly, it’s a size issue. Children breathe more air, drink more water, and eat more food per body weight. Therefore they are exposed to a higher concentration of toxins. If their systems are overloaded with too much at one time, it may become overtaxed.

Adverse effects of pesticide exposure range from mild symptoms of dizziness and nausea to serious long-term neurological, developmental and reproductive disorders. Chemicals are used not only to combat pests on farm crops, but also for cleaning and pest control in homes, places of business, schools, hospitals, airplanes, shopping malls, and many other public places.

children should be fed an organic diet

It’s one of the things we can do to limit their exposure to toxins. We may not be immediately aware of the long-term effects of
toxin exposure, but what we do know for sure is that food choice can have a substantial effect on a child’s future health.

Always remember that children need a varied diet that includes fresh fruit and vegetables, and you should never exclude these
from their diet even if organic produce is not readily available.

Everything that applies to baby, applies to you too. Eating organic food helps you reduce the toxic load on your system and is therefore better for your health
